Let ice cream soften, but not melt. Stir in all ingredients. Store in freezer-safe container in freezer.

In a large pot wisk together 2 egg yolks and ⅓ cup sugar until combined and heated through. Stir costantly. Then add ¼ teaspoon salt and milk. heat through; do not boil. Remove from heat.
